This week progress on my project has gone as planned by collecting some pictures of my dances. My dance pictures of my more recent years were easier to find but I am still looking for more of my beginning years as well to showcase my progress of my dances. When I was looking through these pictures I realized as time went on I looked more confident and happier with my teammates. I feel as if this observation relates to how I have altered in changing as a dynamic character from being a shy dancer to being self assured in myself on stage. As I find more pictures and videos I plan to keep comparing and contrasting this observation because it shows how my passion has evolved and how I have become the dancer I am today.

As seen in the captions of these pictures as you scroll over them, they each capture a different time in my dance career and who I was as a dancer. In the younger years it demonstrates my cheerful, excitement to starting dance and curiousity to all the possibilities it could bring. The smile on my face and ballet pose of fifth en avant in the second picture shows how proud I was to know a pose in dance and my accomplishment of taking dance classes that year. As the time goes on, in the next picture my skill level is documented when posing in the splits. I believe this transititon from the picture of me standing in my duck costume, to the ballet pose, now to the split pose significantly reflects my success between those age gaps. It displays that between those years I have learned and experienced new things in my dance career and overcame obstacles to get to the point I was at. I think this is essential to my passion project since it shows my development and successes I have encountered while dancing. It will be important in the end results to see how far I have come from the beginning picture to now, clearly showing the start, middle and end of my dance career. In the group pictures it not only continues to show these imporvements as a dancer but also my interactions and bonds formed around me in my dance community. At first when my group was formed we danced as singular people. In the photo of the pink dresses you can see this lack of relationship as we all do a standard pose. However as we danced together longer, we all became close friends on and off the stage. These bonds were created through the countless hours we spent together and all having one common purpose to do the one thing we loved; perform. In the picture the next year you can see our personalities shine through as we united as a group for our picture. This relates to my dance life at the studio and how in my project dance is my passion but it was also impacted by dance being the passion of my teammates aswell. In the last picture it is a smaller group of teammates that danced together over a course of most of our lifetimes. With this group we formed an unbreakable bond so we knew each others strengths and weakness'. This helped us give each other advice, show our strengths and help each other improve on things to better themselves. This was a very important part of my dance career to develop further and take constructive criticism from others to improve. By having these pictures I am on track with my progress because I am able to analyze so much from just one photo. I can see my developments, my bonds formed and my improvements to success in my dance career. I think having this step accomplished was a very important part to assisting my projects ability to understand where I came from as a dancer to where I am now. These pictures really are a captivating capture.
